Can I choose courses outside of the core Economics curriculum?

Students have the opportunity to select two courses (10 ECTS), labeled as free electives, which can either include language courses, the economic internship, study abroad modules, or courses listed under the Miscellaneous section.

However, please note that Business Administration courses (e.g., Marketing, Accounting, Entrepreneurship, …) and Finance courses (e.g., Capital Markets, …) are not part of the core Economics curriculum and are not considered Economics courses. If you are interested in mainly taking such courses, please consider the other Master’s programs offered at WiSo: Master’s degree programs – School of Business, Economics and Society
